how do you remove the glove box? I know it's prob really simple but I can't seem to work it out and this is really starting to make me feel stupid. :s Seems that my latch is not working anymore so I was going to take the box off and take it all apart to have a look at it.Anyone else had this problem and have a solution?

Jeez Max, I've only done it once and that

You can repair the latch with a ...>>

cable tie. Yes, seriously.Start by removing the black trim below the glove box. It is held in place by three of four plastic clips, you press the centre of the clip and it pops out so you can remove the clip. With the trim removed, you can undo the 4 screw holding the glove box hinges. With the hinges undone, there is only the glove box damper holding the glove box in. Undo the screw in the right rear corner of the glove box and you can disconnect the damper. The glove box should fall into your hands now.Now start removing screws from the inside the glove box and remove the cover from the glove box.As for the actual repair, I can't remember exactly what I did. I think the broken bit was a plastic lug to hold a return spring ...I'll have a look tonight to see how I did the repair.

Had a look last night ....>>

and thers a return spring on a pin and the plastic mount for one end of the pin broke off.The inner edge of the pin mount was still intack but the pin could (and would) fall away fromthe mount. I used a small cable tie to hold the pin against the mount and it works like new.:-Z
