Can anyone give me info or link on putting a P76 V8 into a 280ZX?

I had a 1983 range rover with a P76 twin carby in it, went great, very bad on Fuel

The P76 V8 was a lovely light alloy engine. Surprised if you could still find on to use.

Its been done I guess but a long time ago, I know of a one in a 240Z which was done ages ago. One would fit OK and be a fairly straight forward swap with just the usual things like engine mounts etc to be done, you are not going to be able to find a fitting kit for it so it would be the usual custom one off conversion type of thing.

It was a very popular swap for 260Z owners back when I owned one(came in about 100lb or so lighter than the 2.6ltr six). Adapter plates were available for gearbox.:zlove:
