Where did I say in my post that if Arvin's Zed didn't make it, no one should buy the Calendar? My original post was mostly intended as a joke till now. All I said is 'I' may not purchase the Calendar if his isn't in there. And I may have taken at shot at who is organising it (was meant to be a joke at first till his reply I guess). Why the hell are you getting all defensive? If you don't like it, don't buy it. I don't care one way or the other what you personally do...? I voiced my opinion on a public forum, thats all that was done here. MoulaZX
My car is far from perfect... that's a fact. And I'm a BIG believer that acceptance of one's weaknesses is the first most important step to improvement. I stay optimistic with my car and just enjoy every bit of it, be it ups or downs. Looking at a glass as half-filled rather than half-empty is what makes me appreciate life. There is a difference between "refuse to" and "may not". It doesn't exactly read as a joke, more like a "Do as I say or else", to which you make no apology for. Public forum yes, but trying to influence voting outcomes based on your obviously biased knees-bent attitude is getting very tiresome.
True, read these two in red again... clearly you never read the first point, and the second tells you why it went from out right refusal (which was more of a joke at first), to now when questioned seriously slightly changes to 'may not'. Arvin, I think that your car is worthy of a spot in the calendar, but I'm not sure that the photos you've provided really show it off to its best capability, ie poor lighting and/or cluttered and unpleasant backgrounds that detract from the car itself. That would be the only reason to me why your car wouldn't make it in.

Nice car Tektrader, I would a have a more contrasting background, there are to many things, objects happining in the background that take the attention away from your car & to many reflections on the paint. Open wide simple bright panorama background would be good.
That was a couple of hours today. If I had a bit more time I could have taken a few more. Cheers for the car comment HDR photo's are awesome. I just downloaded another program which is way better than the first one. Check this out !!! Might have to buy this program to get the water marks off it.
Yeah that colour comes out much more better there, If you can manual focus on the nicest part on your car when your taking the pic, this will make the background less obvious and more out of focus which is what you want for a good clear pic of your Z. Try get a blue sky background for a backdrop, place the sky background half or above your car & make sure the other below half is nice & horizontal. Sometimes the light will look better on your car in early morning or evening instead of directly above your car in the middle day.
It WAS manually focussed. On the door handle of the car. The depth of field was chosen so the extremities at both ends of the car where still quite in focus. The background on these series is fine, as it was exactly what I was trying to acheive. If we have any more time to submitt before next weekend I may try and take a few more.
