OEM 2000 Spec Front Bar / Update Kit - For Perth Zedders only

I am organising a group buy for the kit from Simon of TTZed for $625 + $100(freight arranged by me)= $725.00, total cost to Perth. Simon's got 7 in stock at the moment. You will have to organise pick up from my place around Jandakot area, once they arrive in Perth. This will be open for 5 days only till end of Friday. Details of the kit are as below, taken from his website:

2000 model Front Bar, Update Kit (90-96 Z32)
The front bar is made from durable urethane and will stand the test of time with a limited lifetime warranty, the kit includes the parts as listed below. New indicators are provided as the older style are larger plus contoured differently and will not fit into the 2000 model bar. The front bar fits direct to the older 90-98 models, the kit includes the 3 items listed below;

1 x 2000 model front bar
1 x LH bar lamp/indicator
1 x RH bar lamp indicator


NOTE: the NISSAN OEM front grill mesh PN #62254-VP100 is NOT included ($ 209.73). A grill is not needed but will keep leaves, etc from entering in through the main air opening, you can save considerable money buy purchasing anodised grill mesh from most major autoparts suppliers for around $ 40.00 (std colours Black, Gold, Silver, Red, Blue, etc).

I'm interested but the gb price is the same as the normal price. So what's the benefit here?

 

This group buy is savings mainly on freight only for zedders in Perth because the selling price is the same for anyone who wants to buy it from Simon. The cost for Simon to send per kit from Melbourne to Perth costs $233.40, while I can get shipping for all 7 kits to Perth, confirmed for $744.00. Actually, I'm out of pocket $44.00

Just thought I'll help other fellow zedders here in Perth since there was quite a good response when mattz, last started a group buy on these front bars a few months ago. I am still getting the kit whether I save the $100 odd dollars on freight through a group buy or not.

I have got a quote for all 7 kits for around $800 from Bulleen to Perth. Will post the group buy for Perth zedders for 5 days. Meanwhile, is it possible to reserve all 7 in stock for us Perth zedders? I can only confirm the numbers by end of Friday.

I did enquire previously and that is correct. The only saving with a gb is on the postage side of things.

 

If simon is willing to use other transport companies

put him on to greyhounds bus freight. Only cost me $101 to ship a front bar from melb to perth with them.

 

I have actually emailed Simon if he can give us a better price. Will let you guys posted when I get a reply.

 

So he is going to reserve 7 bars for a week ,wouldnt it have been a better idea to do an expression of interest first and then find out how many bars he had

The only thing that doesnt look good on them i think is the number plate part at the front,for that reason,i am getting the shaved 2k bar shipped from coz,alot cleaner imo

 

agree how much is it to get a bar from the usa and how is being sent?

OEM 2000 Front Bar Group Buy - Summary

Ok, a few questions and concerns have been raised as to the arrangements, so I'll try and address them all now, and see if this can really go ahead.

The Group Buy price of $625, is the price directly from Simon at TTZed. I have emailed him back again, but this price will remain firm due to his costs.

Why I am going through the trouble of trying to arrange this is to help Perth guys with the cost of shipping. Simon's normal prices for shipping to Perth is $233.40. A suggestion has been made to try Greyhound bus freight, although what they have told me on the phone, is that the cost will be $170 per bar, and this will require Simon to drop off the kits to their depot, and for me to pick them all up.

The arrangements that I have been able to sort out earlier this week INCLUDE the pickup from Simon, as well as a DELIVERY to probably 2 locations in Perth (potentially NOR and SOR). This was priced at $744 for 7 kits.

To make it easy for all, I have rounded this down to $100 shipping per kit.

SUMMARY:
Product: OEM 2000 Spec Front Bar / Update Kit
Price: $625 for the kit, + $100 shipping.
I'll be after a $200 deposit as I'll be paying for them all first, and I need some incentive for you all to come and finish the deal.
Shipping should take around 1 week, max 2 weeks.

Timing:
Simon has been kind enough to reserve 7 kits for the purpose of this group buy. I will therefore try and reduce any incovenience to him, and get this sorted out this week. (Unless he will be kind enough to extend his assistance... I'll ask for another week and let you all know). Let's just say for now, that the closing date is this Sunday 12/08/07.

Contingency:
If we can't make 7, I'll find out at the point of this group buy closing, what the cost will be. It should be less than $200, but more than $100. I don't expect any deposits to be paid until all is confirmed.

 

Freight companies.

I work in a warehouse and send stuff all over Australia. The best priced freight company I've come across for Melb to Perth is Sadliers, they are slow, but really well priced compared to most any other companies ie: Bohaul/TNT/Star Track etc.. You could expect a delivery time of around 3-5 days.

Just a suggestion to help you guys save a few $$.

 

I would preferably want to get the bar at around $850ish (shaved) If shaved becomes too expensive the normal will do me fine. If I can get it around that price I would be happy.

 

if you are talking about the U,S shaved bar,you wont get it for that ,it has to be shipped here

Ok, I've heard back from TTZed. The new closing date for this Perth Group Buy is 19/08/07.

So... we now have another 11 days to try and get 7 Perth people!!!

Sorry, this is going to be straight forward, and ONLY for the standard 2000 front bar (NOT shaved) @ $725 shipped, assuming we get all 7. As earlier stated, if we don't get 7, I'll re-evaluate the shipping price, and see if it can still go foward (with the approval of everyone that still wants in).
