Even Aussie born children doesn't mean much any more - my daughter was born here, but can't claim to be Australian until she is 9 and has lived a majority of her life in Australia....until then she is a Kiwi on a Kiwi passport.....not that I'm complaining - at least I can still leave my wallet lying round the house for now
I'm reasonably thick skinned so I don't really mind a bit of shit slinging, its all part of the welcoming and I know the Kiwi's do the same back home, life is too short to get hung up on some friendly banter, it's about the wheels we drive and are passionate for that matters. As for what stumagoo said, he's farily right, you guys have more to worry about those coming from the North than you do from us friendly East islander, I think its fair to say I'm paying my way in taxes to your awesome lady PM

AHHH yes but now all the labor fanclub can blame the NATS for the poor economy she left them with..... just like the late 80's. I have labor loving mates that still try and convince me that telecom was sold by the nats and that labor never ever sold a state owned asset...... I am not a real big Nat supporter but I am even less of a labor man. (the greens are non exsistant on my planet)
