My Zeds Xmas pressies have arrived :)

A set of lightweigt Lenso's, 17x8 and 17x9 and a Braille 550CC Carbon Fibre Race battery that I can hold in 1 hand ! ,only 21lb.

The other Braille unit is a Power Protector. It ensures the Battery always has enough in it to start the car and also features 2 remote controls that cut the battery power as a security measure. Sufficient to keep clock/stereo settings ect remains.

I plan to sell Braille very soon through CazRacing, I just need to test them out for myself first :) Is anyone else using them?

My Zed is with the guys at Carlton getting prettied up for Summernats but once she's back and these are installed I'll post up pics and do a product review.

    Caz.. :)

    About 9.5kg.

My Pulse battery weighs about 7 but is not all that powerful so you would not want to be running much over the stock sound system or anything else putting much drain on it.

Yeah JP is running one in the race car and has been selling them for a while, put a couple into GTRs etc.

Downside of the braille is those 550cca are as big as they get, so not so good for the doof doof crowd! Plenty strong enough for most users though.

I have one in 550cca, going to fit a maintenance style battery charger (ctek xs7000 are the best for this style of battery) as I don't think the car will get driven that often.

Wrong Rob, Braille have bigger than 550CCA, there are 850CCA, 945CCA and even 1115CCA Batteries.
    :)

Hmm... according to their website this http://braillebattery.com/index.php/batteries/b3121c/# is the biggest carbon fibre battery they do and only 550cca... May be that someone is confusing CCA with pulse cranking amps or cranking amps at higher temps.

They are in their latest brochure and I have spoken to the distributor about them. Its their Endurance Series.
No they aren't Carbon Fibre, CF ones are specifically for weight reduction so not applicable to cars running huge sound systems.
