Yes. Need nistune or chipped ECU with matched injector size.

Well because the injectors don't have collars holding them down, it looks like you can take the injectors out without removing the plenum...which in itself is godsend IMHO.

The only thing I'm not sure about is that it looks like all 6 injectors are practically held down by the bracket at the top and the 4 bolts. It's probably hell-strong enough but ya know, it just doesn't look secure enough where the injectors sit in the lower plenum to me.

that photo makes it clearer, should be enough clearance judging by that photo....problem solved....

kabiryou would just bolt your plenum down as usual then remove and replace he 4 bolts needed to install this, pretty simple, or if your talented you could reinstall plenum and rail at the same time, but not as hard as your thinking it is.........

in reguard to spray pattern you just need to find out if they will do a pintle injector dont you?

the cruise and throttle cable linkage is integrated into the rail system. This is a one shot deal. Best rail system on the market thus far.

E-mailed Kip@ driven authority, but didn't get a response yet. Want to place an order. Did anyone tried out this one? Need to find out few questions about the installation procedure.

The injectors used are ordinary bosche style injectors that all major manufactures use...i.e Chevy, Ford, Porsche, Mazda, Toyota, the list goes on and on. The system is 100% positively sealed with no room for error in it leaking. As for the spray pattern these bosche injectors are non pintel. They spray very similar to the newer style Nismos/Sard injectors on the market.

I'm not sure why you guys are looking at this fuel system as if its so new to engines. Top feed systems have been in use for years. You can adapt them to work on any engine. VGs have no fuel system loyalties. Start thinking outside the box a little. Thats the biggest problem we have in the Z community all over the world is that its sheltered like dogs in a kennel. Some of us have busted out of there and are making strides in improvements. This is just the first step.

I myself am having quite a few products that will be show casing on the Driven Authorities site in the WIN Factory store. Its a collaboration in gathering the proven parts and premium products made to encompass the realization of what real performance is.

As for the price...this is a brand new kit...its totally revolutionary to the Z scene and is making a huge impact. The price for this kit is extremely cheap for what it is. The other kits you will spend a small fortune on. 300 Degree and Sards will run you nearly $1400 and the BDE top feeds are $1200. This kit is smaller, better looking, cheaper, hides under factory parts, and incorporates the throttle/cruise features into the rail to keep everything as if your VG was bone stock. You can't ask for anything more really.

If you guys are having issues with Matt or Kip not getting back to you email me at tech@epracing.net

I'm the only other dealer for these parts so if you do have any questions feel free to email me. Pricing for the product is going to be the same so please don't email me asking for a special price.

Hi Cyas, Thanks. I have forwarded same request at tech@epracing.net which was sent to Kip. Hope to catch the boat for the first batch production.

Nismo and SARD actually have quite different spray patterns. I would be interested to see a bench test with this bolted to a series 1 lower plennum....

Agree the price is right, don't bother comparing it to the cost of dropping in a new set of injectors...

however both are non pintel injectors. Thats what I'm getting at. The physical spray pattern may be a little different but honestly on a boosted engine the venturi serves little to no purpose as while under boost fuel is forced down and mixed as its on its way.

Agree there 100%. All the rules change when the intake is under positive pressure. The spray pattern may effect low speed drivability but no mortal would ever notice.

This product looks excellent, injectors are cheap and there are literally 100's if not 1000's of injectors available that will fit these. I cant see them being bosch specific, there are moany other brands that are compatable with bosch, rochester, delphi etc etc.

As for holding the injectors in, that is how all top feeds are held in, but usually with only 2 or 3 bolts. not 4. This is the best commercially available option I have seen for vg fuel injectors/rails. At that price this guy won't have stock sitting around too long.

So why then do some injectors perform OK on a bench test but others do not?

Agree the difference is going to be at idle and low speed...

I'm not saying this is a make or break issue, but certainly worth checking out yeah?

I know some spray patterns contact the side of the plenum/venturi. What I am saying is they will be very different under boost. I just cant see it being an issue in the real world. Bench testing and actual operation parameters are very different. No doubt the S2 type injectors perform as intended in an S2 plenum, but S1 perform very well in the same plenum.

so to cut a long story short ..
the bosch injectors (non pintle) will probably work better and more suited to my series 2 plennum?

as I'm seriously considering this setup as my 740 nismos will max out at about 400rwkw on E85.. BUT am fussy when it comes to matching parts like injectors and rails.

on a boosted application the matching of parts like injectors is not a critical deal outside the fact you need to ensure you pick the right size injectors for the use you intend to go on.

The injectors are Bosche...same company that makes thousands of other parts for all manufactures around the world. These injectors are proven and have been working in many vehicles to this day. I wouldn't feel skeptical being that its bosche...i would be if it was some other company that refurbishes injectors..but these are brand new and ready to use.

For your info re fitting of the injectors.

I am positive the Rochestor injectors will fit this rail as well as the Bosch ones. The Rochesters have quite a long neck which actually fits down the lower plenum entry hole complete with orings ( I have them here)

Therefore they spray further down into the lower plenum than the stock PINTEL injectors.

AFAIK the Rochester injectors are exactly the same length as the Bosch and the Entry and exit diameters and Oring sizes are the same.

I ask again, What is the price for the rail ONLY ??

In this kit he has had to make collars for the Bosch injctors to work and also seal to the lower plenum.
