i agree with most ppl here in saying #3 + #6 if they angle the driver a lill, ok i am still VERY new to cars in general, so dont flame me wen i ask :( i only have a auto NA, so if i be able to find 3 semi usefull gagues to fit in there??? a list of gauges a NA can have (if any) would be gratefully aprecated.. ty

    Jason,
My original S to S gauge pod IS screwed to the dash using two long screws, which go into the two top screw holes of the centre panel(remove the two little plastic blanking covers). There was no need to drill or alter the dash in any way, the whole lot can be removed without showing the slightest sign of having been fitted, and whilst fitted, would need a handgrenade to move it.

I haven't had the pod re-coloured to match my dash colour as yet, but in the meantime it is covered by a Dash Mat(which still fits almost as if it was made for the job).

    CHILLI,

I got those gauges too, but didn't like the look of them with the spacers so I had to cut a large wedge out of the dash behind where the gauges sit. I like the look of them especially at night but they can be a bitch to see during the day sometimes.

    ......UPDATE ON OPINIONS......

.....Hi guys:) Thanks for your input.:)

.....It seems that number 6 definitely has the most votes as a new style to go for as long as it is angled toward the driver.:)

.....Just a reminder that if I do Number 6, it will not be Carbon Fibre, but fibre glass with either an uncovered finish so you can cover it yourself or paint it etc., or it can be pre-covered in BLACK Vinyl or Leather to match the stock Zed trim.:)

.....As for pricing, I will need to get 15 firm orders to cover the costs of producing a brand new mould and the first run of units. :)

.....The uncovered bare unit would be - AUD $135.00
......Covered in Black Vinyl would be - $165.00
......Covered in Black Leather would be - $195.00

.....This unit would have no stitching like the first model had.

.....It will also have the facility to screw to the dash for those who are under
Cams Strutineering:) as well as having a soft adhesive option for easy removal.

.....The top Air conditioning vent will not be covered as in the previous model but you will be required to drill a small hole in the dash for the wiring, that will be covered by the unit.

.....Also it will take both 52mm and 60mm gauges

.....So guys have a look at number 6 sample again, and place your orders.

.....If anyone wants one of the first models let me know and if enough want them I will make another run. Examples of it can be seen on my website at:-
    www.street-to-strip.com.au

    ......Thanks for reading folks:)

    I'd be in...

for the #6 in leather, unless there is a way they could be carbon-wrapped.

    ....you....

...could have a bare unit done your self:) I will not be arranging CF covering because of the price, and only very few guys would want one.:)

I'm keen, what sort of price would you think to deliver to Perth? $20 ish?

I'm not sure what sort of covering I'd want yet, but put me down for one to make up numbers to get the mold happening.
