    Diff painted

I gave the diff a coat of Cerakote Glacier Silver (ceramic paint like High Performance Coatings / JetHot Coatings) that can withstand temps up to 1500F. This is the air cured version so it's not super shiney like their Glacier Chrome which is oven cured. It's more of a satin look but I think it turned out ok for a spastic who has never spray painted before.

Lower intake manifold egr and cross bracing removed

Lots of angle grinding, die grinding and dremel the EGR mount and cross bracing of the lower intake manifold are now gone. Bit more to go yet and then onto port matching.

Is the removing the bracing purely for weight reduction?

somewhat but also gives more room

to hide stuff in the valley of the engine.

  7. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

    cool idea I'll do that

Very cool idea. Also none of the links in the first 3 pages or so work for those of us late to the party with this project.

Great looking build! I have always liked the saved side lines.
