I double checked the reducers I have they're definitely 2.5"-2.0". You're welcome to them if you can make them work with a bit of heat and lube.... Wouldn't want to be he guy taking them off down the track though
I would get those mild steel pipes lipped by a roller if you can. Boost leaks otherwise. Alternatively you can weld lumps on spaced evenly but that's ghetto. 20 bucks you throw the greddy at the wall Progress looks good.
Auto intake cams are 240 degrees / 8.5mm lift while manual cams are 248 degree / 8.5mm lift. The auto cams should have an ever so slight advantage down low with a similar peak. The NA rear end from what i've been told by quite a few zedders (including Ron/Wizard) is probably the best mod you can do to a TT. So auto cams for a slight down low increase, plus shorter gearing should make for a nice street car.
Only red left now is the seats, interior and door cards have been reverted back to tweed . I'll have to bring her up and show you when i get her sorted :br: Excuse the crappy paint atm, had lots of fibreglass to repair!
Just a quick update.... SHE RUNS! Just need to fix a few massive air leaks and a few other things so it doesn't die 10 seconds after starting. Sounds like a tractor too off the dumps.
Nice suprise is it can move under its own power now, no power steering, no brakes, idles really low and dies but it still moves. Had a quick scare when the throttle got stuck open while giving her a quick rev, shot a nice flame and the bovs went off, neighbour's hated it Picked up my cats tonight so will put the catback and cats on tomorrow. Can't wait to be boosting up the road :br:
Couldn't resist, i threw the exhaust on which doesn't even properly fit and had to take it for a quick spin. Less than half throttle, 7PSI and code 34 but i'm still very happy to have driven it!
Ok well ive been driving it for the past few days with no ps. Boost controller harness to the mac valve is stuffed so im stuck on 7psi for the time being. Not a bad drive but i need more power :-D
