Hello my good friends, oh how it’s been so many years now. Alas, I ask a favor of the group, the remaining few you could say. To the point now.. I’m in the process of making a vg30 cas work on an adapter I’ve machined that slots into a xk6 jaguar 4.2 straight 6 engine points distributor. what I’m chasing is a photo of the exhaust cam from a vg30 that has cyl 1 at top dead center. I’m trying to remember the orientation the half dowel has when at TDC. mainly so when I ground the half moon shape into the distributor drive shaft it’ll marry up with the cas being close to TDC. I’ve already flipped the optical disc so that it’s triggered correctly, the xk6 drive rotates opposite to the vg30. the ecu I’m using, does allow for me to gin around with finding base timing but I prefer to have things close instead of going hunting. anyways if anyone can assist that would be most appreciated. ps, I did find one image from google but we all know it’s a 50/50 on being true.
