Went down to "driver training" at the Collie Powerhouse circuit on Sat.

    Pics can be found HERE

Unfortunately the white S13 only had third party insurance. :(

WTF, that's an unusual "driver training"....

Some serious damage to cars! How did the Skyline end up in the ditch? What happened to the S13?

    hehehe...

...the day was badged as driver training but it was really an excuse for a cheap day at a sprint circuit. The GTR ended up in the ditch on get this - the sighting laps... 95% of the guys hadn't been on a track before (eveidently!) and the adrenaline and testosterone mixed. He knifed the clutch at the hair pin and it just got a way from him.The S13 was coming through a right hander which I normally do near the top of 3rd. Half way through the corner it changes surface, I didn't see it, but it looks like he had the back end through the right hander, over corrected and during the overcorrection put a tyre onto the dirt throwing him into the tyres on the opposite side of the road. Nothing but pride and wallet was hurt.

    How to remove scenery...

...well first things first... after my last adventure to the same track, I should have listened to my own advice that I've been telling others all last week - and that is to have your windows up no matter how hot it is!Failing that (like me) you would pay your mate who needs cash to wash, polish, vacuum and armour all your car for $50 once you get home from the track. He did it yesterday and it took him 4 hours. :p

    yeah very....

...the problem was that I looped it at the chicane just before the hairpin, and to get going in the right direction i lit the bags up... thus when getting to the hairpin and going for a little ass-end out action spongy tyres caused me bigger than ben hur oversteer that whipped back on me. A case of trying to impress the crowd and driving beyond my ability.Pride was restored later in the day with the burnout :)

    Its regular mpeg codecs.

i use windows media player to play them. If you still have issues, I can convert them to wmv if that helps.

it's just giving me the shits

because I d/l'ed them both and now they won't work, I might go for the new media player, if there is one out atm.
    Cheers.

FranZ, when the next Collie run

on. I didn't realise that it would be so soon after Chrissy. Last run that was on at Collie I blew the clutch hose (between the slave cylinder and the fixed pipework) and missed out :(
I'd be keen to cruise on down to the next one...:p
BTW ... nice pics and burnout... ohh and dirty dirty car :|
