agreed... collect cars not replace them.. .its not like you get much for zeds these days anyway, not like you have money on a loan to them so just keep it for cruises, daily, but if you have the space, i do so ill always keep it but i understand when you are in appartment blocks etc and just dont have the space to store it.
Heres the thought process, since you seem to be incredibly thick... 300ZX 300ZX need money and time. I have money, I have no time. 300ZX will keep needing maintenance and I refuse to be taken to cleaners by mechanics just because I own a Zed and they panic at the sight of one. 300ZX is really starting to feel dated, from exterior to interior. 300ZX, have to spend thousands to bring it up to par to handling, and braking of 370Z. 300ZX, full comp insurance costs more than for the 370Z. 300ZX, extremely thirsty. 370Z 370Z doesn't need time, just money. I have money. 370Z, the one I'm buying has only 14200 on the clock, Log books with receipts of regular Nissan servicing. 370Z, the one I'm buying also has the extended factory warranty. 370Z, the one I'm buying is being financed as a company car, and quite easily affordable for me. 370Z, the one I'm buying already has a pretty good after market exhaust and $5000 worth of new Rims and Rubber all round, and I don't plan to touch it for quite a while, leaving it as is. Now, as I stated before, you can show yourself out of my thread. Thanks. MoulaZX
I agree. It may well end up being the case. I'm really only set on listing it at this point. If after a while I don't get a reasonable offer, I keep and store. MoulaZX
Well while you boys have been playing I decided to answer my own question and pulled the oil tree off the old motor. I found Nissan had moved the sprung ball bearings from the block to the base of the oil tree. Makes more sense to me. Here's a picture >>
HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i googled 370z drivers and this is what was found http://thejabroni.com/blog/tag/nissan-370z
Very Nice. You won't be disappointed. Had my 2010 model 370z now close on two years and have loved every minute. It gets better everyday. Also looking at the Stillen supercharger kit. Although there has been a few issues with tuning setups in the US. But like everyone else has said here already if you can afford it and have the space keep your 300zx as well. The 370z has plenty of power and fantastic fuel economy, like 245kw driven HARD and averaging 10 litres per 100kms!!! But I still like to take my "tweaked" 300ZX out for a spin when I can. 1. Because it is a 300ZX and nothing else needs to be said! 2. But it is fun coming back home after the driving the 300 thinking to yourself "crap that thing is fast!!!"
Finally, someone who gets it. Yep, the Stillen is the one I'm looking at as well. Won't be for while though because yea, as you said, 245kw off an NA (not a Turbo with spool) is still loads of fun plus, I'd like to just leave it as is seeing as it is practically still a new car, and the better fuel economy is just awesome. And I'll still have my Zed for a while too for when I do want to go out on occasion and feel a nasty spool and kick. Maybe even alternate between taking the 370 or the 300 to the Drags. What are these tuning issues with the Stillen SC kit though? I haven't heard anything like that... MoulaZX
