Hello all, unfortunately after nearly 300k km of service my drivers seat frame has kicked the bucket by the top half snapping in half and the lower half swaying like a drunken sailor on any slight corner. Being an aus spec its all mechanical and I want to keep the car as original as possible.

I haven't been able to track down a mechanical donor frame and was wondering if its possible to graft a electric seat frame to a mechanical one while keeping the mechanical hand adjustments? I do not want to just slap a electric seat in there and call it a day.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and if any of you have a mechanical seat frame laying around which you're willing to sell, please send me a message.

I know the rails are different design. Depending on how yours are broken it shouldn't be beyond the realms of getting it welded back together.

My Z31 driver seat rail had a break and re-welded back to proper function.

Also considering people want more money for Zed parts :(, it may be cheaper to get it fixed anyway.:)

Might be beyond repair as it's properly buggered. On a speed bump last week a bit of the frame speared out of the seat into my armpit, do not recommend. I'll see, you can fix anything with enough coin and time.

Thank you very much! Luckily someone in my local Zed Facebook group reached out saying they had one, but I'll definitely keep that website in my back pocket for a rainy day if I need it.

Unfortunately both of those are electric driver seats.
