Thanks Tim, truth be told I actually didn't think about commenting on his posts like you mentioned before and after trying to contact him by phone, email & insta private message was about ready to give up. Lo and behold he saw my public comment though, and the rest is history.
Hi, am an owner of a 25th anniversary z32 manual, great to hear these stories and memories. The z32 was my first car purchased 20 years ago, am experiencing it again with a purchase within the year (25th anniversary). Please contact as I’m keen to obtain a one off drawing
So, to cut a long story short I've been chasing this for several months now, but yesterday I finally picked up my new 370z. Vin #50454 Why am I posting this here? Because it's the last Australian delivered 370z...
Nicely done! The hunt continues I hope for the final Z33 to complete the set? You've done bloody well to find that though, purchased new or been checking the VIN of everyone that pops up on carsales?
Thanks! It's brand new, off the lot which I still can't believe has happened. The last 350z is currently somewhere in Qld...
That resonates. I moved my weekender Zed out of its' hidey hole last year and now park it outside my workshop ( under cover ) so I can caress it with my eyes any time I want
So, this happened... A couple weeks ago, I was scrolling through Facebook marketplace and came across a 350Z with a VIN that didn't match the format I expected it to. Initially, I thought someone had made a typo or was trying to rebirth it. 350Z production officially stopped in 2008, however after doing some digging it turns out that in 2009 there were 25 convertibles built for Nissan Australia, a good 6 months after convertible production had stopped. Yep, this is #25/25. Interestingly, Nissan FAST lists all 25 as February 2009 builds, however this one is stamped April 2009 which makes me think there was probably some delay in completing all 25, considering that convertibles were fairly low volume and at this point 370Z production was in full swing. Regardless, I think it's a cool story and I'm stoked to have the last 3 ADM Z cars made in the last 30 years.
Excellent work Adam. Owning the first zed of every model sounds far far more exiting. Don't you agree? Would be more of a challenge. 2 seater jdm zeds are the real collectors when it comes to these cars, in my opinion.
Yeah think your thinking of Adamzx. Seriously though it's a pretty amazing achievement to have assembled the last 3 ADM cars, game on for the Z34 now!
