Hi, Can anyone tell me where I can start looking for new wheels as I am sick of dealing with idiots here in Adelaide. I want a clissic 5 spoke wheel with a deep dish and a choice of offsets. I currently have 17" tyres that are still good so I was thinking of sticking with them. Does anyone have 10" wheels on their z and what offset are they as I do not want to roll the guards.

do you want camber or not?

need more info than "i want dish'd 17's on the car in a 10" wheel"
run a 10" +35 ish with -6 camber and kill your tyres with unrolled guards, or run a 10" +45 / +50 offset with minimum camber..

18 x 10" +38 here. Lines up with the guard almost exactly.

Nengun has a bunch of wheels. Tirerack too. Depends how much you want to spend.

Yeah I'm 18 x 10" +38 as well with a 295 tyre. Run about -0.5-1deg on the rear. Bit lower than zductiv's, but guards rolled out and the seam between rear bar and panel has been ground in a bit.

limited choice for a 10" in the stores in Australia, heaps of choice if your happy to go with 9.5", and to be honest 275 tyre on a 9.5" is really plenty unless your a phat tyre show pony like some of us.

If you want something wide winout rolling your guards you can always go with a bit of stretch, but to make it look decent you need to drop it on its ass on some coil overs...

www.stayclassy.co.nz for some pics of proper fitment with stretched tyres (not to mention a general look at the car scene here)

I've got 10" + 45 in a 17", but haven't had them on with tyres as yet. Looks like they will clear alright though.

As the others have said, it can be tricky finding 10" wheels, aren't too common.

Don't run stupid camber either, wide 17's aren't cheap  You need a 265 as a minimum, I'd be going a 285 though. From 285's it jumps straight to 335's :( Better selection in wide tyres for 18's and 19's.

Thanks Guys, I know my info was a bit lacking. I am finding it hard in Adelaide to find any one who can offer me some options, It seems like if you want ROH or CSA wheels you are ok. I want to find someone I can deal with in Australia who can offer me some options of widths and offsets. Then I can make up my mind what I want.

As for the camber etc, I am not sure what it is. I would say I have a very slight negative camber on the rear but not much. I would be happy with 9.5" on the rear if I could find some.

I currently have 8" + 30 on the front and 9" + 38 on the rear. They look fine and I like the staggered look but I was wondering what the maximum width you were able to put on the rear with a standart set up.

Can somebody recommend anyone in Australia where I can get some good choices.

    Regards Simmo

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

Try a search on wheel width, wheel offset, wheel camber, etc.. you'll find many, many examples of different peoples experiences with width and cambers.
