This is for the low beams only. The high beams have a very unique clip system that i dont think will allow for the LED conversions to be used without modification. I do want to look into that later though.

Just a reminder guys, if my supplier does run out of stock in the first run they will be doing a second regardless, but the first people to pay will be the first to receive their lights too.

Are these just led globes on its own with a fan/heatsink at the back? Or do these come with some sort of ballast just like HID kits? Do you have a picture of what exactly is in the kit?

Heatsink on the globe itself and its powered by a ballast which connects to the harness. Its not just a 12v direct LED, its a proper regulated and driver controlled array of six cree chips if thats what you are wondering :)

Ill try upload some more pics soon :)

Not too late for anyone to join in guys, im allowed to do this price up until EOFY according to my boss. Heres a pic of the bulb with driver.

^ Each kit contains two "globes" and two drivers. The driver is required to run the right amperage and voltage for the LED array.

Do you have pics of the beam they throw ?

I'm not interested if other drivers can see you coming, I'm interested if you can see where you're going

^ My driveway is on a 5-10 degree angle, so this photo doesnt depict the spread and length too well, but really highlights how crisp the beam pattern is.

^ Taken at the local park. There is a small dip in the ground you can see which messes with the depth perception, but the beam is lighting up plenty of area ahead. Photo taken standing at the drivers door.

I'm watching this with great interest, but I'm not sure your photos are doing much justice to this group buy. It is too hard to tell how good the upgrade is without a good comparison in identical locations. Ideally there would be:

    - 2 photos taken from directly above the drivers seat position - one with halogen bulbs in both lights, and then another with both LED bulbs installed - on a quiet, flat road with little to no other background lighting in the exact same location.

    - 2 further photos - again with and without LED bulbs about 3-5 metres from a wall so as to determine clearly the pattern of the light thrown. Again should be taken from directly above the drivers seat so that there is no perspective issues in the resulting photos.

    It's not utilising the projectors....

it's just throwing a straight beam, like the high beam projectors do

The Kelvins seem right because the light is a good colour, but I don't think I could live without the l/h cutaway that the low beam projectors provide.

It seems like these LED low beams are somehow imitating the pattern of the high beams, and I don't need TWO high beams on the zed

So count me out, I think I'll go HID so I can make proper use of the oem projectors

I understand what you are saying Ian, but please bear in mind also that like i said in my original post, my headlights are poorly aimed as well. There is visibly more spread on the drivers side than the left, and the left hand side is the light i had recently bolted back into place without aiming.

I would suggest that with correct adjustment these will make proper useof the projector. If i can find a spare hour later ill pull the zed into the garage and aim up the lights properly for an accurate representation, as these photos arent helping a great deal, and taking photos from my smart phone isnt doing much justice either.

Ian if you look at this image closely, the stock beam pattern is there:

It's not clear because the driveway the car is sitting on is sloping away from road level so the car is actually lower than the road hence the pattern may not seem obvious and the distance seems short.

Jordz if you park the car in front of a garage door, that would be the better shot.

Something like this (note this is a LHD image so the pattern is reversed)
