anybody have the problem with the ecu going offline ? have the laptop hooked up & reading okay but as soon as I start the car it last about 3 seconds then goes offline & am left with what ever it read when it cut out.have tried another software ,same thing so i take it its the e.c.u.
Try this. If your using datascan. "Go to start->Run and type (regedit) Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\NDataScan" and delete the whole NDataScan entry. Close the Registry Editor and try running the software again. It will save the default settings to the registry file."
Are you using a usb or usb to serial adaptor cable to connect? I have this problem wen I connect with a usb cable. Serial cable works perfect.
yeah ,I've tried with both serial & usb & 2 different computers & same same.Well still learnin,took a couple of days to get it to work at all.Life would be different if everything just worked.I'd be bored then.
