Just a note to other Zedders, I've had an annoying rattling /vibration sound coming from around my gearbox for awhile now. Although it was very light, it was more obvious when sitting in neutral, and would disappear when I revved a little or started driving. Was very happy to find that this was fixed by replacing my gearbox mount!

Another point that I didn?t expect (although it makes sense when you think about it), is that the clutch shudder that I sometimes get since changing my clutch and going to a light-weight flywheel, has decreased substantially.

Much easier to drive smoothly now!

What gearbox mount did you get after market or genuine ?

Technically aftermarket. I bought a Nismo gearbox mount.

I've heard that Nismo mounts transfer a lot of vibrations into the chassis, but this info seems to be based on S13/S14s, where the mount is basically a solid block. The one I got has a similar design to the stock mount. I certainly don't have any complains about vibration transfer through the mount.

Who'd you get the mount from?

    I bought it through Greenline.

Actually ended up working with Greenline to confirm that this gearbox mount would fit, as there is 'officially' no Nismo gearbox mount for the Z32. I believe it was technically a Skyline part, but regardless of that, it was a perfect fit. :)

    Part number

I'd like to try one of these , I don't suppose you kept the part number.

Sorry, the box and documentation were thrown out. Email Greenline, they now know that this is a confirmed part to fit a Z32, and would definitely have the part number.
