    Hey all,

Just thought I'd show ya all what has kept me busy the past few weekends in the garage. I posted about it before, but now it's all done and complete so I thought I'd post up some pics of what was done. It was a relatively easy job in hindsight, but the things which set us back mostly were the seized up bolts. We eventually figured out how to get them off though and we were away. Painting the calipers took a while as well because I had to wait for them to dry and then put some clear coat on them as well.

The feel of the car is totally different now. It feels new again and when you tweak the settings on the shocks you can notice the difference right away. The springs are Tein S-Tech. The brakes are the kit off the 350Z track. 12.75" front and standard size on rear, both slotted and cross-drilled. Also have stainless brake lines and Hawk racing pads. Very clean pads by the way...

Installing it all was the easy part and once it was all done there wasn't any fixing required, it all just worked straight away... :)

    Anyway, enjoy! :D

And thanks again Luey for helping and cursing with me. ;)

    Cheers
    Rob.

looks hot as, just 1 q though..

why bigger discs and not same size but slotted and drilled? because you still have standard calipers so the extra disc doesnt get used anyways

Uhh, yeah it does. The caliper brackets space the caliper further out from the axle, which increases braking torque.

And why do you have Subaru under your name?!

Extra disc means better leverage or braking torque. A bigger disc upgrade is better than a caliper upgrade.
Ofcourse better calipers would be good too but not nessasary. Just rotors and pads and you'll see a big difference.

I fitted the same springs and shocks on Baroo's car this week along with front and rear camber arms. Very Nice.

But the ride height was heigher than his old saggy springs.

You did put camber arms on didnt you? If not keep close watch on your tyre wear.

If you want an even bigger difference and a huge improvment to the steering. Fit the whiteline sway bars !!

They are amazing. The car feels like it is half the weight afterwards. Very Nimble.

    Gday Rob

What was the advertised drop on those Tein springs?

Im curious how my eibachs would compare in ride height. The springs themselves are the same size unsprung, but the eibachs have about twice as many coils. Im thinking the eibachs wont compress as much and ride slightly higher.

    Hmmmm wrong,

My Eibachs ride height is the same or slightly lower than the Tiens. The Eibachs are prgressive rate. The Tiens are not from what i could see this week.

These are the Eibach/AGX's on my car.
