my '89 TT, 130,000km, silver manual 2+2, very good condition for sale for a very low price.. say 8K ono... would anyone be interested?

has pod, exhaust, udp, engine rebuilt 4000 odd km's ago..., running fine, may need new front tyres

I'm assuming this is the same one you had advertised for 12K, i'd take it but i'd have to convince my parents to let me drive a turbo, dam p plater restrictions, i hate you government!

Im in NSW but i think the laws in vic are pretty similar, i was toying with the idea of driving a turbo but to risky, the gov are a bunch of tossers

Yes.. same car.. basically, i can take a $3.5K trade from the ford dealership!!!! which in principle i was going to go for... (3.5K when i'm buying a 30K car.. grrr)

Pretty good paint (silver), good interior condition (tweed)

for RWC, probably needs front tyres, other than that should be good, last got an RWC in oct, less than 4000km's driven since then!)

i can vouch for this car, i've seen it 3 or so times, and it seems pretty good, never been in it but also seems to go pretty hard

and a fresh rebuild, this would be perfect for ANYONE looking for a TT

 

I sold my immaculate TT some years ago now. Woke up one morning, bumped my head and thought, I need another Zed in my life.

I'm in NSW so I think I will need a blue slip to transfer rego? Anyone know?
My concern is that it may be knocked back due to modifications/accessories etc. I don't know your vehicle, so I'm just assuming this may be the case. In any case, would you know what would be required to pass a NSW blue slip inspection? I'm more than happy to hop on a Virgin and get down to VIC in a couple days if it's viable to do so.

i hate to say it but if you need the cash just put it on ebay with a reserve of 4k or something, you will get more than the dealer offered and get rid of it quick, starting price 2k or something to not scare people with the higher reserve, i reckon best way to get it sold quick

 

yeah, i will be putting on ebay

and putting a full and final add on here once everything is sorted and i'm sure i won't be trading (they've offered a tentative 6k... if i can push them to 7, maybe even 6.5 i might take the trade)

I would prefer the car to go directly to a buyer, they win and i win then, but i've also got a lot of headaches to deal with currently and selling a car would be another.

 

damn.......i wish i had 8k.....i would buy it straight away......anyways might help if u put a few more pics up like back, interior engine.....

Re overheating, since that event, i've noticed no problems, power feels normal and coolant levels have stayed full, so no problems that i can detect anyway, car still feels smooth.

Hey. I'm having difficulty getting through to you via email, so please send me pics and info (as requested below) ASAP. I want to buy something this weekend and I have my eye on a few local options as well. Obviously, I'd like time to prepare a flight to VIC.

To summarize what I outlined in my email to you, can you please give an honest response to the following so I don't end up flying back empty handed.

1/ Regarding the overheating, have you had it checked by a mechanic to confirm that there is no damage to the motor or blown head gasket?

Is there oil in the water or water in the oil?
Is the temperture at normal range?
Any bubbles showing up in the radiator?

2/ Are there any oils leaks from the motor, turbos, gearbox, diff, steering rack, steering pump, master cylinder, slave cylinder or anywhere else for that matter?

3/ Are there any water leaks from the cooling system?

4/ Any vibrations from the drive train or does is run silky smooth at all speeds as they do?

5/ Any bearing noises?

6/ Did you get the A/C working through your center vents?

7/ How loud and low are your pipes? Are they legal?

8/ Any dents or scratches in the body?

9/ Any damage to the interior/seats?

10/ What exactly comes with the car. You mentioned boost controllers and other bits previously.

I think that covers it. I'm not so much looking for an immaculate Zed, rather I need the info in order to make fair comparrison with other cars I've looked at.

If there is anything else worth mentioning please do so and send pics of any dents, scratches etc. I'll check the above mentioned items if i get down there, but need to know in advance.

I appreciate your time in answering these questions and hopefully you'll have it sold by the weekend.

I have seen this car and it is a clean example and driven sensibly. Absolute bargain. I'd trade in mine for this one any day.
