Does anyone make some nice billet aluminium Idler pulleys and hydraulic tensioner?
I think JP from UAS had a set made up (with oversized pulleys) but from memory the tensioner was a mechanical style where as I still would like the hydraulic style.

I could machine up the idler pulleys myself on my shitty lathe but I'm lazy and would prefer to buy them. Plus not sure if 6061 would do or would I need to go to 7075 for the strength?

If anyone knows a place that accepts TurboCAD drawings to (CNC) machine parts please let me know. I tried eMachineShop but their prices are through the roof. The base plate for the tensioner was going to cost $250 alone.

EP racing does a solid tensioner that I think you can order through coz. I realise this is not specifically what you’re after.

Many years back one of Johns motors had oversize bearings to increase wrap. No real need though once you’re running ignition trigger off the crank.

    Why?

Do you have any photos of the EP Racing one? I don't need oversized idler pulleys but I would like some shiny alloy ones :)

Btw: Check out how much the tensioner on this Camaro goes ape shit at the 15 sec mark

Last time I checked, none of the US vendors stock the EP tensioner anymore, but you can buy it directly.
