Hey, I was one of the "lucky" ones who was in this infamous group buy years ago (remember the one where the clear covering doesn't stick well and you can't see shit during the day). Anyway, I received the new ones ages ago too and they seemed to suck also but I'm getting sick of not being able to see the low fuel light. If you punch a hole in this EL stuff will it still illuminate? Cheers, Matt
My guess is YES, remember that there are holes where the needle shaft is going through the dial material.
Yeah I've pulled the instrument cluster so I'll do a bit of experimenting with my old set. Cheers, Matt
