driving home from uni last nite, and all of a sudden, while down shifting, my clutch wouldn't release, hard to pull da clutch out with my foot and then pulled over, checked it out....no clutch fluid at all in there!:thumbsdown::(:(:(

soooooo depressing, a car was ready to buy my car, was gettin it nrma inpected on saturday....not anymore...gotta get this sorted out first, hopefully it wouldn't be 2 much of a pain, and hopefully the buyer appreciates my honesty and waits...hopefully

    kind regards,

    reg:(

It may not be as expensive as you think....

...the same thing has happened to me before. I bought a small drill powered cylinder hone from repco(about $20). I cant remember the size but its the smallest ETC tools one they have which is just larger than the bore diameter buy a few mm's, so just check the manual for bore sizes first. Before you can use it you need to file down the tabs on the back of the pads until it will fit into the bores (a dremel is good for this), and then honed the master and slave cylinder bores (being very carefull not to go overboard). The kit from a clutch and brake centre should cost around $50, and lastly buy some rubber grease and some more brake fluid. There is a trick to setting up the master cylinder piston that even the mechanics seem to regulaly stuff up, so do a search for posts made by me about master cylinders for more info.....

.... or you can just take it to the clutch place and tell them to fix it!:p
