I was at a sandwich shop in Lane Cove sitting outside having my lunch while out of the blue these 2 guys with balaclavas and the biggest machedies I have ever seen held up a jewellery shop on the over side of the road about 10 meters away from me. One the the guys was smashing all the display windows inside the store and filling up a sack with all the jewellery while the other guy was waving his machedie at the people on the streat screaming "who wants to f$*k with me". Within a minute they then bolted down an alley way between 2 shops and then it was all over.
Must have been a little freaky...>>> We have had bomb threat warnings at work, and as I work for Telstra...well you know... But we are now not allowed to open anything that looks like it has been tampered with. My response to my colleagues was, hey have they ever seen what a couriering company can do to a box....??? I just thought it funny, but chapel street store, a day before it's re-opening after a re-furbishment, was broken into and no stock left to sell...:| ?
u change your pants as soon as you got home? :-0damn man i would be packing myself, atleast they didnt have guns, guns can still do damage from a long distance, machedies cant (unless you are a brilliant throw).I found out today that a ex school mate of mine walked into a store, grabbed a knife off the shelf (sorry wasnt told name of the store) and used that knife to hold up the store and rob it! He got caught atleast and hes being put into a mental institute apparently.
Yeah, two of my old classmates are "inside" Both for armed robbery! The funny thing is you would never have picked it from what they were like at school...Even funnier is the story behind one of them (don't know if it is true or not), but in School he was really skinny, so apparently he got into bodybuilding big time, including steroids... the story goes that he started suffering massive roid-rage and hence the armed robbery episode... Unbelievable!!!
During the robbery apart from being stunned I could not help but sort just sit there and sort of laugh during the whole event. Its almost felt like a movie seen
