Should be getting the shafts in Thursday this week from Mallet in UK and have few orders made. I will post up some comparasim photos of the new shaft to the old one. New shaft should provide more top end and better torque.

Also have few new wheels that has higher trim them current, will increase top end power but also turbo lag. I will leave that optional for customers to decide.

    Flow Rate?

    Hey,

What is the flow rate of these turbo's? There's no mention of it... :)

    Cheers

with current wheel in 56mm rated at 280HP at 1.8Bar, 60mm is rated at 320HP at 1.8bar. 60mm will have more lag as its heavier.

    Per min...

Oh, I meant, do you know how many pounds per minute...?

I thought the efficiency range was 0-20psi, 1.8 bar is like 26psi?

1.8 Bar is about 25psi. We normally rate them to about 90% of max boost efficiency, it also various to lot of other facts when working with an engine.

Most of turbos are rated based on its compressor wheel at 1.8 Bar. its quite accurate as with the GT2876 76mm 480HP compressor wheel I personally got 282rwkws on a 1.8L CA18det at 1.8 bar with a Cosworth turbine wheel. which is about 472HP from engine.

Sorry it still doesnt make much sense to me,

you said that you rate the turbos to 90% of their efficiency range, you also state that the efficiency range is 0-20psi, so why is the turbo rated "280HP at 1.8Bar (26psi)"?

I'm not trying to doubt your figures, I'm just interested in how these figures are actually worked out :)

Ok, T28 Turbine wheels has arrived, Just give some updated photos. We will be using this Turbine wheel instead of the current T25 wheel, it will increase some power but greater torque.

We also got higher trimed T28 compressor wheels, they can increase 40 additional HP, but will add in lag, optional for people who's after high top end power for drags.

For ever one who's currently waiting for their order will receive the updated T28 turbine wheels instead. Please send in a PM if you want to get T28 compressor wheels instead. we will have all of them made by Thursday comming week for dispatch.

You going to have compressor maps for these? Might be keen for a set of the high trim T28's. Would spool well with the VH :D

I ordered my set on 12th, from what i read they willl now be coming with these T28 wheels? is the spool time on these going to be different from the original T25 wheels? I hope not as I was after a turbo thats spool time isnt much worse than the stock. (T22s?)

I'm only looking to rebuild my stock turbos down the track.

I enjoy My 300Zx TT stock, yes I know... Some like More power, But hey each to their own.

I would also be seriously interested in these as they suit my budget. I'll keep an eye on this
    Cheers

Ok People, all of your orders has been finalized and dispatched this afternoon. Apart from using new T28 turbine wheels, we also made some strong steel actuator brackets to replace the carbon fibra brackets to suit

    Steel bracket:

When installing the turbo make sure to flash your oil feed lines, and if you are replacing a pair of blown turbos its a good idea to inspect the turbo bearing to make sure its not caused by oil contaminates. You will need a mico inline oil filter if it is (we can supply for $35 a pair with braided lines).

Failed turbo bearings caused from oil contamination:

about fabrications required to have ATR25s installed:
Oil line needs to be changed We can supply for $150 a pair with turbo.
Stock Oil return flange screw wholes needs to be slightly drilled wider (2mms)
Intake pipe from passenger side needs to be cut, rotated and joined back with a 2.5inch silicon hose.

You can rotate the turbo's comp and turbine housing to suit cooler pipes and dump pipes depends on your setups. But remember to adjust the actuator rod and ensure the wastegate flap is tightly shut after rotation. to do that please watch:

At the moment they come with a 12 month unlimited KM warranty, probably one of the best you can get with turbos I think?

I doubt Hypergear will sabotage many future sales for the sake of one person's money.
When hypergear are ready to sell this product, I'm sure they will register in the FSBB section. I'd suggest any further potential buyers wait for that to happen

Yeah I wouldn't worry about Hypergear trying to steal anyone's money, they already have a solid reputation in the Silvia / Skyline circles.
