what kind of power gains would i get by spending 600 bucks?

what mods would give me the most power on this budget?

i already have exhaust and pod filter, car is running shy of 1 bar but i still gotta find the source, it looks like stock turbos, no boost controller and no jets, also think stock boost solenoids have been removed and so is the AIV but not 100% sure

    APEXi SAFC + a Tune
    Japtek SMIC's

Should fit in that budget and on 1 bar should end up around 235rwkw.

Perhaps I got ripped off, but the dyno time amounted to more than $500.00 to tune a Nistune ECU & eBoost 2 controller.
Taking this into consideration, there isn't much left out of $600.00 for parts.

    is dyno necessary?

and is anyone selling those parts atm?

isnt your car running like a bucket of sh$t right now?

Forget about power gains and be more focused on getting it running properly.

    1. Put a cheap boost controller on.
    2. Boost leak test and fix up that abortion of vacuum lines you showed in previous posts
    3. Take a serious look at the car's service history. If your 100k service and plenum pull haven't been done...... you'll have you at least double your $600 to get that up to standards. Multiply by 4-5 if you pay somebody else to do it.

    No, not necessary.
Rather than spend the money on something useful, I preferred to waste it on an unnecessary dyno tune.

Buy a hdi Evo boost controller
Get nistune and load up a specialty z tune or
    Mine/kinda the same.

Get aem Ugeo and make sure afr are in check.

F1 racing clutch or similar. Learn how to drive and a 12.6 can be achieved on that combo. If you want piece of mind get a water/meth kit.

    Faster again nitrous.

Assuming you have a good base to work from.

The odometer indicates 67K, so the 100K service isn't due for another 33K or 12 years if the present milage rate is maintained.

Start with what most will recommend on any car, fix boost leaks etc make sure everything is running correct, if you are handy with the tools this hopefully will be not much more than time and the basic consumables like oil coolant so you have a good starting point. Then for your budget go with Toshi - I unfortunately have not been able to but I have seen nothing but good reports from here and other sources.

my car is running a lot better since i got rid of the stereo and plugged a few vacuum lines, so i believe there's nothing really wrong with it except for 2k idle which is pretty annoying, pretty sure there's more leaks to be found but the engine is pulling strong lately

If getting rid of the stereo made your car run better, put a multimeter over the battery and see if the alternator is pulling its weight.

ah just saw you are in WA as well so the Toshi idea is out for you (just like me :D) but to be honest a good engine in good trim running ~ 1 bar of boost is nothing to be shirked at, if you really want more you will need more than $600, especially when things go wrong.

My base map much better than S-AFC and not good tuners map.

But If your car is not stock turbo and injector I can not do it.
