High Output (180amp) Alternator from BNR

    I'm chasing a high output alternator so looking at doing a group buy from BNR auto in the states. These guys offer a bolt on replacement and have plenty of good feedback from twinturbo.net.

    Why fit a High Output alternator

    Your factory alternator can only provide a certain amount of current. As you increase electrical loads (for example thermo fans, HID headlights, amplifiers) the alternator cannot supply enough current to keep all of your electrical systems operating at the required 12v. The fix is to fit a High Output alternator that can provide more current.

    Price: If I can get five buyers paid up I can get these for $200 each delivered to me in Sydney.
    Freight: Buyers will need to pickup from Sydney (North) or pay freight
    Timeframe: I need this sooner rather than later, so I'm looking for another four serious buyers in the next week or two

    Am suffering from the same. An underdriven TT 90A alternator simply isnt cutting it with Thermos, HID's and stereo. Even with an OEM balancer, voltage is too close to an even 12V at idle.

    Don't know and no way of working it out as I don't have the product in front of me. It will all depend on dimensions and weight, which I won't know until they arrive.

    Will charge actualy freight via auspost so not much.
