Quick question, I'm about to remove my hatch to replace w/ another, once all hatch trim, struts, 1/4 window trims are removed & the 2 hidden screws rear of the roof liner, are the hatch bolts accessible then without pulling the whole liner out ?

And slightly pulling the liner down to fit a spanner or ratchet in there ?

I will also be cutting then reconnecting the demister wiring.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to pull the liner. 2+0 and 2+2 might be different IIRC.

Demister/wiper unplug, no need for cutting.

you do not need to drop the whole lining to get access to the bolts. you will need to crack the sealer as this is tough stuff then when you replace with your new one make sure you reseal it.

no need to cut the loom just make sure you figure it out before you take off the strut arms to save some back pain

The connectors for the rear hatrch electrics are between the top and second skins. DONT CUT THE WIRES. They are in A CUT OUT INBOARD OF THE HATCH BOLTS

They are pretty deep down but find them and UNPLUG THEM and push the rubber boots through BEFORE you unbolt the hatch.

Alrighty, had a better look after un-clipping the start of the roof lining, easier than I thought.

Thanks for the input & clearing that up.
