    The long story:

    Hey guys,

As a few guys on the forum already know (James and Jedi) I'm heading overseas soon and I have to sell my car to chase the girl of my dreams over in Europe (picture not below).

SO, those that want a 5 Speed with leather seats WITHOUT MODS, please see pictures and details below (more can be provided on request, only to genuine interested buyers). This car has recently been inspected by RACV.

    First the photos:

Specs of my car are below, unless stated ALL parts are standard:
    1990 Nissan 300ZX 3.0 litre 2+2 (4-seater) coupe
    5 speed
140,000 kms (all reciepts provided for servicing every 4,000 kms from 119,000 kms onwards)
    Gunmetal grey
    Targa top
    Leather seats
    ABS brakes
    All power options and airconditioning
Nismo Red stiched gear shifter and red leather gaiter (see uniqueautosports.com.au)
Stainless steel blue indiglow side cills (as per forum buy)
Will come with pre-lub kit purchased on the forums from Jedi
    REGISTERED UNTIL AUGUST (COMPLIANCED)

    And since arriving in Australia:
    - VIPER Alarm, Immobiliser and remote start
    - Fistidious maintenance work done, including timing belt, and wheel hubs - Respray of some small scratches around body
    - Have replaced rear shocks (KYB)
    - Majority highway KM's

    Negative points:
    - As with many Zeds, the Left turbo seal has gone - price lowered on discovery of this problem during inspection
    - Lifters are occasionally noisy toward the end of a service period - a pre-lub kit will be provided with sale

Just to save repeating the answers to obvious questions on the car, a question was asked this morning:

"I assume you are in melbourne/ victoria?"
    YES

"What would be the cost to fix the turbo problem"?
Have to replace the turbo to fix the seal, but at this stage there would be no real point as the turbo isn't about to go, isn't leaking much oil and its worth waiting until it does so when the rebuild happens other work can also be done.
The cost of a rebuild varies a lot, some do it themselves, others pay good mechanics upwards from 3-4 thousand. My mechanic quoted about 3 thousand.

    Other questions asked:

"Does it have original Fairlady Z floor mat's"
    Yes, in good condition too

"Does it have a sound system?
Yes, I'll be happy to leave that in the car, Pioneer MP3 head unit, boxed 6x9's (not drilled into the car) with a 10" SubWoofer and MTX Roadthunder Amp
All cables run over the carpet so the car wasn't drilled into anywhere

    more questions:

"How much tread on the tires?"
All 4 tired are less then 3 months old and I don't thrash the car, so excellent tread. Incidently this car comes with 4 free wheel alignments at any bridgestone tyre outlet which came with the tyres (when the odomoter shows 150,000 KMS, etc.)

    "The condition of the Targa?"
Excellent, one has a tiny bit of chrome showing on the top as the rubber wore down, but both seal and clip fine"

"How did the inspection report come up?
Green lights on all areas from brakes, tyres to body, except for engine which showed up the turbo seal, which is why the price is dropped from 15,000 to 11,500 (to compensate for rebuild)

TO those watching this space. The car is sold.

Sorry to those who were waiting for their turn on an inspection (some interstate). The first fella to check it out bought it. So congratulations, i'll be watching the forums and I expect there are no problems with my car for a very long time - the buyer has got an absolute bargain, this is one of the cleanest zeds on the road and the only 5 speed gunmetal leather TT I know of :O).

I couldn't be happier that it was a forum member who bought the car :)

Kutos to all Zed members, your all great, if its the last thing I do it is to seperate the members of groups like these from 'HOONS'. Although I didn't say much over the years I 've read a lot, I've learned a lot and its been my priviledge to be receiving such great help for very little in return, cheers!
