    My TT swap will be:
    Unbuilt bottom end
    2.5 inch stainless exhaust
    Unorthodox racing UDP
    GT28R turbo's
    TT fuel pump
    740cc deutshworks injectors
    Japtek sidemounts
    Gizmo EBC
    F1 6 puck clutch
    54 mm TT radiator
    NA diff
    Nistune

Replaced all fuel, water and oil lines. Was thinking between 15 and 18 pound.

    Was also considering twin intake...

Have also got 320mm rotors as it's probably going to be a good idea to be able to stop.

What do you reckon? Who else has similar?

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

only relevent factors to the power there are turbos, exhaust, injectors and side mounts

    310ish

    get a real fuel pump

Yer - I almost got a Walbro 2nd hand, but someone got in before me.
Was considering a fuel gauge and reg combo at the same time.

Man I'd fit a new fuel pump for the sake of it, but the stock one should supply plenty of fuel. If stock pump can give enough fuel to make 300rwkw (estimate based on trap speed) with E85 it can do it with pump fuel easy.

It is a 'new' pump ;) I'm upgrading from NA to TT :)

I can't do E85 - there's like 5 or so E85 stations in the whole of WA, and I don't want to drive 40Km's just to fill up my tank.

    you should hit 300rwkw at 18psi .

Is twin intake worthwhile? I already have the hoses and 2nd AFM.

As anti said only a few things on the list make
    Power but you missed one.

How much timing can you put in it before det or MBT: thats power. So I say 280-290 with a conservative tune?

Good point, but I was going to leave that stuff to the Tuner.

I think the twin upgrade would be worth it for sure btw

Cool. The last time I considered it was before I went with the bigger turbo's, and at that time it wasn't going to be worth the hassle.

Do us all a favour and find out -I'd love to see a proper back to back test from a third party.

For what its worth Greg D of Specialty Z thinks they make a difference and you don't have to be over 500 for them to do so. For those that aren't members of 300zxclub I reproduce the whole post:

I use Selin with dual intakes and make 271rwkw on stock turbos, which is unusually high for stockers.

So, what was the horsepower difference then?

Edit: ignore. For some reason the images didn't show before.

Yeah soz, forgot to include them first time around.

    Not reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaallllllllly independant though.

I would like to see back to back runs on a car that ISN'T hitting 5v on single AFM.

Do three runs on single and three runs on dual. Same car same day same dyno, show all of the correciton factors on the sheets, and no retunes.

I've said before I'll be very surprised if there are consistent, repeatable gains switching from single to twin but hey I'm happy to be proved wrong.

here is where YOU and OTHERS on here make THE MISTAKE WITH YOUR TESTING THEORY !

if you add a mod that moves restriction and adds more air !
of course you need to adjust the tune to take advantage of the mod !

,its the same thing with intercooler pipes and throttlebodies

Its the whole idea of doing the upgrades, more air -add more fuel ---------adjust the TUNE TO SUIT !

So you are telling me that if I have a car that isn't maxing out a single AFM, and I change to dual AFM but touch nothing else that I'll see a change in AFRs -yes? Because that's the only reason I would need to alter the tune. I would love to see somebody actually demonstrate this.

who says the gains will be in the top end?

if it slightly gives you a better spool and slightly increases the midrange by adjusting the tune isn't that a result?
as more power an upgrades are added it becomes more of a benefit .

yes AFR should change but as usual you expect too much from just one item :p
