i am confused as to how they fit??? they dont have any mount points on them like the maltech ones have...also confused as to how tey screw in, i take it they screw directly into the caliper and hard pipe on front and just the stock flimsy hose on the rear? totally confused! ryan
You remove the metal brake lines along with the rubber pieces. The braided lines screw directly into the caliper, then the other end into the chassis hard lines. Use zip ties or similar to hold them in place so they don't end up scrapping against the brake rotor or something else. Not too hard. If your asking questions like this maybe you should leave it to the professionals... Not something you want to stuff up
i have goodridge lines and they have all the same mountings as the factory ones , no need for zip ties
Zip ties a NO NO Imagine what may happen when the zip tie lets go and hose abrades through - Murphy says it'll happen at the worst possible moment. Have them modified and fitted correctly by a brake shop.
My lines hold themselves in place. Routed the same way as the standard ones. Zip ties would only be extra security. I had a good look at it and can't see a way that the lines would come into contact with anything that would cause them harm without one end being disconnected... I will sort some proper clamps out soon...
waiting u should tell them that i was waiting for u remember,so u can come and get the money and drop the lines and then u contect me after a 3 to 4 weeks later, man dont do that,i thought u ve changed ur mind, i ve pm u about the lines just give me couple of weeks and ill refund the money. chees AK
