Can i just make sure everybody understands the following as there was a few that didnt follow it on the last cruise...

All cars are welcome on the cruise...however since its part of the zed forum cruise, can all the zeds stay together at the front. Any other cars can stay in the back & still enjoy the cruise & have all zeds up in front of them & have a good time. It just looks better for other people on the roads or streets when they see all the zeds together rather than other cars in between.

Iffy for me too since I work nights mostly, and after working so long 9am start (let alone waking up earlier) is almost impossible for me, I kind of just saw the event (was looking forward to meeting all you people) and when they added in the charity for Eric and family I was for it, should have checked the details more carefully.....

Haha if your part of the cruise, its quite simple to understand & follow. If the general public gets in between thats fine as they dont know the terms or rules of a cruise...plus we can always overtake. Its just a matter of the others in the cruise that decide to overtake & speed rather than just enjoy the cruise & have a good drive.

There is no need to speed or overtake as we all will be heading to the same destination, although a bit of overtaking while on the freeway by fellow zeds is acceptable & fun :p same rules as always...have the person behind you in your rear view mirror...if you cant see them then slow down & so should the person in front. If for some reason somebody pulls over then flash the lights & maybe beep so they can see.

We sure dont need a repeat of the GOR or the incident that happened at the last cruise...hence my posts about having the zeds together & everybody else follow at the end. Its not like your going to miss 20+ zeds in front of you lol

I'm actually more concerned on the weather! It's not looking too good! I'm going to the Avalon airshow on Sat aswell.

    Really???

I just checked it and it says 29 and sunny. Perhaps a shower later in the evening. Seems pretty good cruising weather to me considering that we will be cruising early in the morning and heading home in the afternoon :)

For Vic guys meeting at Todd Rd...

It seems that I have volunteered myself to lead the convoy to Ross Watt Reserve. So, for those that will be following me, we will be leaving the Todd Rd servo strictly by 9am. So make sure you are on time and fueled up to go. If for what ever reason you dont make it by 9am, and still intend on coming on the cruise, then please make your own way to Ross Watt Reserve (its not hard) and call Mick on his mobile (see post below) to let him know.

    See you guys Sunday.

    We need moar zeds

Come on VIC zeders, lets get some more support for Eric and his family! Would love to see some new faces this time around. If you've got work take a sickie, its one day, for a good cause, and for those with the zeds in parts, pull your finger out and put them back together ;)

That's great news Dave, good to have another old bloke on the cruise :D

Since Kingy is still in Lumbar Land ( not to be confused with Limbo Land. Lumbar Land is much less fun ) could you be
the silverback who leads all the younger monkeys to the meet point at New Gibbon? :p

( admit it - that was a pretty good monkey pun, R I crack me up at times )

ROUTE UPDATE, SOME CHANGES. For the better of course :)

I drove the route from New Gisborne to Castlemaine today, couple of things need to be changed.

Firstly, scrap the Ross Watt Reserve meet point on Station Road in New Gisborne -
The driveway into the reserve is not very Zed friendly.
Many of us will clear the deep gutter but some will break their front bar on it

The new meet point is the Caltex Servo just North of Gisborne ( not New Gisborne )
Google maps shows the road it's on as "Gisborne Main Road" but the address shows up as number 4 Station Street Gisborne.

Just navigate to Sankey Reserve, the servo is opposite. Near the Jackson Creek bridge.
Heaps of parking behind the servo. Six of the petrol pumps are 98 RON.

Next, the Bendigo crew departure time -
only took 52 minutes to get from Bunnings in Kangaroo Flat to Station Street Gisborne, so we can leave later.
Since the revised arrival time for Melbourne crew to reach Gisborne is 10.00 AM ( see JEDI 77's post ) the
Bendigo crew can leave from Bunnings at 9.00 AM and still be early.

Sorry to muck you all around guys, but it's better to find problems at the last minute rather than during the cruise.

    Cheers :)
