The 5 speed gearbox shown below is for sale for $50. Pick up (Sydney) only. It is in unknown condition and comes with absolutely no warranty or guarantee that it works. The story behind the gearbox: Several years ago when I was a poor student (having come by a couple thousand dollars) I choose to spend my money importing a TT engine from Canada (The engine was only $1500 but I think I spent nearly twice that importing it - mostly in taxes and fees getting through customs). The engine also came with the above gearbox. It was my dream to convert my NA Z32 to a TT one day. I had no money to go through with the conversion but the purchase gave me hope that one day it would happen. In hindsight this was a crazy decision. Eventually I graduated and got a job and was able to buy a TT. I sold my NA to my brother in law. For several years my brother in law kept the engine (and box) at his house (which I had once half owned when I was living their but sold my share and moved out). We both used the engine for parts over the years. My BIL recently bought a new house and has no room to store the engine and box anymore, we have been storing in his dad's trailer but now need to return the trailer. For fun and education we dissembled the engine (as much as we could - 1 turbo and head still on) and took parts which might be useful as spares. The remains of the engine goes to recycling next Sat. The gearbox will join it unless there is an indicator of interest in it before then.

Guess I should have charged more. Its just that I'm under pressure to get rid of it and didn't want it going to the tip. Glad it'll be getting some use.
