Gear shifter quick fix tip

    While out on the sydney cruise yesterday one car rolled to a stop with no gears.

    It lost the bolt that goes through the gear stick and the external selector fork.
    This bolt is approx 60 mm in length and after looking over the car we found that a timing cover bolt was a good fit and using the battery tie down nut made for a good road side repair.

    All achived from the top, tight but then it is a Z.

    hahah......thats pretty funny.....now are you going to leave it like that????i havnt had a tie down on my battery for like a year......and i was like yeh ill put it on:rolleyes:
