Replaced water temp sensor and reconnected as soon as I started [a cold engine]the coolant fan came on when I took off wire to water temp sensor it stopped. Also noticed fuel gauge in empty position [or close to] although I know there to be at least 1/4 to 1/2 full. Prior to temp gauge fail, things were pretty normal .So now temp gauge still does not work The manual suggests there is a connection of sorts between coolant sensor and water temp sensor I cannot work out the wiring and why there was no problems before the temp gauge failed . Has anyone experienced this thanks.
