WA Forum Picnic - 23 November (@4:00 PM)

In the spirit of getting people together socially, we thought it is an appropriate time for a picnic. It's also an unofficial forum fundraiser, so if you would like to donate to the forum, Ross and I will accept a gold coin or 2, if you wish. This is completely voluntary.

The date and time for this event is Sunday 23 Nov, at 4:00 PM.

Please note that we are departing from the normal WA get-together format in that this is a picnic only - no pre or post cruise (unless you live north/south and want to do a mini cruise of course). You are encouraged to bring tennis balls, frisbees, sunscreen etc.

With this picnic, we are going to Synergy Parkland in Kings Park

This location has:
* BBQ's
* Toilets
* Ample parking
* Suitable grassed areas
* ATM
* Shop

This will be a BYO event - you will be expected to BYO drinks, meat, salad etc.

The plan is that after this first BBQ, we will have another in Wireless Hill, maybe in January next year.

There's a strong possibility that I will be in and it sounds like the wife will come, finally prove that she dose or doesn't exist

if she doesn't turn up is she Tyler Durden??

 

Not sure yet is by birthday ?? plus I will be going to the international game night before with a bunch of leprechauns.

Pending what time you're having this, ill be there. I finish work at 1 on sundays. Definitely keen for a catch up though

 

Time is not really critical, but I expect anywhere between 12:00 or 1:00 would be acceptable.

 

yup late morning start, through to early afternoon.....perfect.

 

I work Sunday's too. Probably won't finish work till 1-2pm

 

I'm now thinking that a 4:00 or 5:00 picnic will be good.
* Heat of the day is finished
* More people can attend

Ok, so it has been suggested to just make a decision and update the thread to reflect.

So, here it is...

4:00 PM @ Synergy Parkland (Kings Park)

This will give people enough time to go to the shop before it closes (@5:00), removes the concern about middle-of-the-day heat, plus may also equate to less parking worries.

I'll now modify the thread.

this is on this weekend, and you dont even need a running zed for this one!!! (or even technically own one!!!)
