Need to sell off - I just don?t think I will ever get time to tend to it.
The low kms is real as I was the person that imported the car from Japan over 10 years ago.
It?s been sitting in my garage for the last 5-6 years as I have been traveling overseas for work. I ran the car every now and then to keep everything running smoothly and even kept the rego up to date till June 2011 - but from then it was not started. The engine does not start right now, but I cannot imagine that anything serious is wrong with it. Just needs someone who knows what they are doing and it will be good buy.

Work done to the car - about 3 years ago, the shocks were replaced, but it really never saw any road time.
If I am not wrong, the standard boost was around 9psi - my one was boosted to 15psi (not huge, but made a vast difference to performance with no signs of drawback). Had no overheating issues in the Aussie summers in city driving.
I had a custom high flow exhaust done at the time to keep the undercarriage neat and tidy (no bends jutting out).
A heavy duty clutch was also installed to hold the extra power. Brakes probably should have been upgraded, but I had not got around to it, but never had any issues with standard brakes. A simple turbo timer is installed. All electrics worked, including the power drivers side seat. Drivers side door was replaced about 5 years ago - as it was damaged by someone in a car park.
Nothing else that I could tell was really broken. It has no leaks that i can see - I just can?t keep it anymore - also need family SUV :)

I am hoping to get my asking price, but open to reasonable offers.

Good buy for a tt slicktop manual. Few things to tidy up, but looks like a solid base to start with. Always a bargain, never the cash though :(

Best of luck with the sale. Should move quickly.

for all those interested. because it is a 1990 model. when it rolls over to 2015 it qualifies for club rego.

so dont need to do normal rego on it unless you want to daily it..

also including full comp. insurance and rego (90 days a year log booked) will cost you under 500, i think mikez32 was saying something like it costs him under 250 a year. but his got a good driving record...

if i had the money i would snap this up real quick

    - UPDATE -
Just a quick note to my original post - bit more details if anyone interested.
The car will just need a new battery to get it running smoothly. Today, I attached a more powerful jump starter battery pack, and it turned and started fine.
I also ran it on the road for a short while, and mechanically, everything seemed to run smoothly. No smoke coming out of the exhaust - always a good thing for older cars, but then again, this car has never really had any major mechanical issues.

I don't exactly recall when, but the timing belt and water pump was replaced (maybe approx 5 years ago, but that would mean less then 10,000 kms in use). Most of the hoses were replaced (especially those that are related to the turbo)
I brought in the hard top myself (say 15years ago) as no-one was really bringing these in (everyone wanted targa). It had done about 30-35,000kms - so over the years its only seen about another 35,000 on Victorian roads.
A quick drive around the block should convince you that everything is pretty good/great for the price. I think one of the senior member's on this forum can see the potential by what he said.
It would make a great track car, but I think its equally good for daily use.
last thing - the power window on the driver's side did not work - I think is very minor, but just letting you guys/gals know.

    Thanks Sanouske :)
Actually I think the price is a little low for what it is - you said it.. manual and hardtop 2 seater hard combo to find.
