Just wondered if anyone has fitted a GT wing to the hatch on the zed and was wondering what if any support modification were required to stop the skin on the hatch from flexing.

Yes, the hatch skin is very flexable, I have used 5mm alloy plate under mine about twice the size of the foot print of the mounts.

You will get defected for a GT wing on a road car so be warned.

    Too many sharp edges.

Find a wing thats already existing on a road car and retrofit it. About the only way to stay legal.

    Regarding the defect issue.

I currently race in a number of different series around Perth all of which require cars to be street legal and many of the cars have GT wings installed.

Although i know the cops dont like them i haven't actually spoken to anyone yet who has been defected for having one.

Happy to hear from anyone who has and especially if in WA.
