    Baroo TIMMAY!

Today whilst cleaning a bit noticed a little smoke coming from left exhaust. Never before have i seen what I thought to be a stainless steel scourer in there, (as a prank from work) blocking the entire exhaust tip. Anyway pulled it out and this is what I've got.

Along came some rusted out bits too with perforations on them suggesting to me that this is the interior of my muffler. Anyway checked the right and similar thing there.

Just wondering what i'm to do. Probably take it to an exhaust place to fix but in the meantime what to do?

The insides of your exhaust have rusted out.....>>

You nice stainless steel exhaust is only stainless on the outside by the look of it, and the internal baffles have rusted out. Time to find yourself a new pair of cannons and get them welded on.

    Mufflers can be rebuilt

Get a price on new mufflers and also try getting a quote on a rebuild. Newcastle Muffler Service cut my mufflers open and replaced the inside with perforated stainless tube and stainless wool. It was cheaper at the time than replacements and kept the look and fitting.
