A while ago I posted a thread on the 1979 South African GP, in which there was made a suggestion of a F1 video night. What we would need is somewhere (a "bachelor pad" or liberal family home) where we could gather and watch F1 videos to our hearts content. What I am offering is the latter (liberal family home), where we could sit down and view F1 non-stop for several hours (days, if need be, (Simon(Hot300ZX), your input would be needed, as the Master source)). On site there is available off-street parking for about 10 Zeds, a dedicated Beer fridge, a BBQ for meals, and 2 (two, count 'em, 2) dunnies, and a very understanding wife (the daughter is somewhat less understanding, as Russ (ZedHed) would comprehend). What we need is not just people to attend, but a source of videos (Simon, again) Anyone interested? Hands up, and I'll think about a date! Probably won't be this year!

Si, I don't watch F1 just for the crashes! The team strategy, the tactics, the driver skills, the constructor cheats... it's all part of the package! But I especially like the crashes! As I was hoping, you have come on board! All we need now is a venue with a BIG TV. Otherwise it's likely to be at my place! I'm thinking sometime after Christmas... there's too much going on before. Late Jan/early Feb, while it's still warm enough to camp out (I can only sleep so many, currently those who call themselves family). I'll set a date later. Expressions of interest most welcome.

Yes, would loveto get together and watch some races My place is WAY too small and parking, well I have about 4,500 parking spots, but a living room that only fits about 8 at the tightest
