For those interested in the accessory pulleys, I just got an email from Shawn saying that we would get 20% off the prices listed on their website. Now their website prices are higher than COZ, but after discounts this means the pulleys from UR would be:

Alternator: ~$64.07USD+shipping
Power Steering: ~$96.09USD+ shipping
Water pump: ~$91.52USD+ shipping

And of course because I would be getting them shipped bulk with the crank pulleys, a saving there as well.

The increased shipping rate would be shared by those who order the accessory pulleys, and will not effect the people who only wish to get the crank pulley.

just some final quick questions
1)all timing marks will be on crank pulley as standard?
2)what sort of warranty/return policy if we have problems can we expect?

I'd like to know this too. Just wondering on the possibility of getting them before November/December when the heat wave starts, so I can swap it out for my underdrive pulley and have my water pump running at the right speed again

 

All TT pulleys, or NA PS and rest TT?

The timing marks will be the same as the Ultra S pulleys from UR.

You can just see them in this picture.

I will not send these out to people until it has been test fitted and confirmed to be correct on a Z (probably mine).

If they are not correct (I see this as very unlikely), they will be sent straight back to UR until it is corrected.

Entirely depends on the Z community. How quickly we get to the 30+ pulley interest mark, and how quickly people get payments in. Then the delays from UR are as posted previously in this thread.

Exactly what is in the kit?

Description from CZP, are these the same kits?

Description: Unorthodox Racing pulley for the 1990-1996 300ZX Twin Turbo/Non Turbo. UR pulleys will add 22-24HP for a Twin Turbo, and 16-18HP for a non turbo. These are by far the best bang for the buck. The complete 4 piece pulley set comes with Crank, Alternator, Water Pump, and Power Steering Pulley. All pulleys come with Genuine Nissan Belts(which are shorter, and are not stock sized belts). Link

 

Hello Raheen. The accessory pulleys are identical to those offered by coz, but the crank pulley is a stock diameter pulley. If you follow Unorthodox Racing's naming convention, the one from COZ is an Ultra S, whereas ours is an Ultra Sc.

Kit includes:
Power Steering
Alternator
Water Pump
Crank pulley.

Basically:
They crank pulley is stock diameter instead of underdriven, so water temps will not be increased because of installation.

so if the crank pully adds about 20rwhp, how much extra rwhp would be gained from the 3 accessories ontop?

Not alot I would imagine. They are mainly for looks.

Stock TT alternator: 0.21 kg
UR alt: 0.07 kg
Stock TT PS: 0.45 kg
UR PS: 0.18 kg
Stock Water pump: 0.41 kg
UR WP: 0.22 kg

Total weight saving = 0.60 kg

I'd be guessing ~2whp

i will put my name down as interested just for Crank pulley, funds are a bit slack at the moment but at the speed this is moving, i should have the money for it when its a goer!!!! Will give me a good reason to get part of the 100K service done anyway since i will be messing around in that area!!!!

Just one concern though, it wont underdrive the alternator will it as i like the idea of being able to get a larger stezza down the track?

 

Nahh mate it's just a light weight pulley not an underdrive one.
