I am considering getting some HICAS eliminator bars manufactured and would be selling them at $140, just wondering what sort of interest there would be at that price.

I'd be interested in these type of HICAS eliminators.

Unlike other cheaper Hicas eliminators, this eliminator replaces the inner tie rods. Stock inner tie rods that came with the car are almost always bad, and can contribute to wheel hop. New Nissan inner tie rods are costly, and in the long run the 12mm rod ends used in this eliminator is much cheaper to replace than Nissan inner tie rods.

    Install instructions:
    1. Unbolt hicas actuator and inner tie rods.

    2. Bolt up Hicas canceller as shown:

Make sure bolt that passes through the rod end also goes through the hole on the subframe.

    3. Plug up hydraulic lines (for hydraulic Hicas) with supplied plugs. Get an alignment.

SPL parts charges $430US + shipping,

Greenline sells for $470AUD + shipping.

To me, they don't really look like $500+ AUD worth of parts.

    Would this be possible?

I'd be interested in basically anything under the price of what they charge.

What would be the advantage of these over the usual lock bar method?

    You dont

have to replace the T/rods with the normal aluminium hicas eliminator. You just separate the rods from the hicas ram and screw them into the eliminator bar. Not sure about the spl blurb ("Plug up hydraulic lines") I?m pretty sure they are supposed to return?, that?s why the alloy h/c bar comes with a banjo fitting, by the way the banjo is next to useless, pisses oil no matter what.

So how do you make it recirculate? Is there another way that works? or is it best to jsut remove it all?(really don't wanna do that though...)

    Just got me

thinking about the return line for the hicas in/out lines, and how to utilize some existing parts off the hicas hydraulic ram to make up that return for nothing. All that needs to be done is remove the short hose from the ram and use that as the return, just checked it then and it will work no probs, could have saved myself a lot off time and no small amount cash, dam it!

well yes that looks like a good idea, but the usual bar type eliminator seems to do the job well enough.
