Now ive got a bit of interests from some members wanted to see if they get 2000spec zeds and parts imported from Japan here is where i would like you to post what you want. So far Ian says he will import whole cars front cuts nose cuts and rear cuts, unfortunately prices are not availiable atm as i need to give him numbers for demand on parts and cars. Once ive got what people want ill get prices from him and post up here so people can decide if they want to go ahead with this or not. If who want any specific parts for any model zed please post here as well or pm me with what u want and ill pass it on to Ian. like i said prices are unknown atm, i think the plan is find out who wants what import a demo car find out the cost and then he will say yup this is how much. Thats why i nned good figures to make him want to import them for us.

Yup already got my eye for this as well ill differently add a note to ian about complete rears and Xenon HID headlights
X2 .... esspecially if its been modded plus.. -lights -interior trim parts (seats) cant think of anything else just as yet.

mate just posted in your other thread some info Blipman posted back in april, thread here, which is gonna seriously mess with your plans... to sum it up nothing after a december '97 build can come in. 2 seaters are cool for '89 to '97 but 2+2's are only '96 & '97. sorry man, but if you go ahead with the parts i'll be interested in a '00 spec spoiler & possibly other bits & pieces. cheers, tim

tail lights G'day, I am interested in 2000 spec tail lights for the Z. Mine are scratched from a dog jumping up on the back of the car......I am definitely replacing them so I am just looking for the best price I can get. Let me know if you can get these. Regards Peter. :bow2:
This is a good thought just imagine how much business your import buddy will get especially with things like 2000 spec tail lights and headlights. I think this is a potential gold mine for him and an awesome upgrade opportunity for our members and other people. This stuff will go like hotcakes me thinks.
well if whole cars are not importable parts should be doable. I said to him that if he did get parts in i would do my best to make sure we got the cheapest prices possible as i dont want anyone cheated out of this. Give me a few days to talk to Ian about what ive gather from everyones interest and questions from these threads.

Updates 19-09-07 Ok i just rang Ian as i really wanted to get these answer to everyone so here is what he said. The airbag issue might be a problem he said he would have to look into this and get back to me but i told him about the US passenger Airbags as possible ways of getting around the airbag problem but he has to make a few calls and see what can be done there. The 1.1million yen price was at an aution John but he said he would be looking at aorund $15,000 - $20,000 landed in australia But then u would have to add compliance ontop of that. Well i havent know him that long i brought my 300zx from him in 2006 but ive only know him about 2 months at most. I know this doesnt sound good but im not getting my hopes up on all fo this as i only want parts anyways. But ill be cautions about this anyways and ill make sure any dealings will all be made through Ian directly. He is a resigsted workshop so that is no problems. Getting parts and front cuts might be ok not sure 100% sure ok this either. Now ive offered to meet him sometime next week to discuss all of these questions and notes everyone has posted to me to him. So we will have to leave it at that for now.
