Engine being sluggish after egi fuse replaced

    I dont knownwhy my Z is being sluggish ever since i replaced the egi fuse also i had my crack angle sensor of the leads and they were abitlosse think it cut out while i was running the engine i sprayed the engine with degreasee before hand so think may have been the degreaser burning when i revved the engine

    CAS connector pins may have the usual corrosion.
    You can buy a spray can of battery terminal cleaner, smallish can. That gets rid of the corrosion. Then use a toothpick to put a dot of contact grease in each of the pin's socket. The contact grease is supposed to be conductive.

    Also unplug battery leads and let the ecu reset? ?

    Sounds that while you were cleaning... You have aggravated problem with the injectors/ignition coil circuit harness as your EGI fuse has blown up.
    Check if your injectors/ignition coils wiring is damaged and bare wire is touching any part of the engine/chaises and insulate wires...
    Could be fuel pump too, as is wired to the same fuse but not very likely considering that you have mentioned that problem started after work done at the plenum area...

    Don't waste money on battery products as above mentioned!
    Vaseline petroleum jelly $2.5 will do just as good as any other product you can find on the market...

    I agree, it's cheap and works better as it gets in the all places spray doesn't.
