Hi there fellow Zedianz. I looked in Tech section on this but to no avail. So a quick question, where do you aquire Dynamat from in Sydney? I want to quieten down the exhaust drone a bit more.I put the UAS resonator on but it's not enough.I know there are different grades/types so I'd like to hear from some of the members who have done this for the same reason & their opinion on the result.

    Cheers

Thanks AASN for your offer, but I'm sure I'll be able to get some in Syd somewhere at a reasonable price, if not I'll certainly contact you. Seeing that you sell this do you get any feedback from customers who have bought this product of you for the same/simular reason that I'm requiring it for?

    Cheers

Reso mat from - truefitcarpets.com.au. I actual bought from a guy that sell car carpets at the market , it cost $ 11 a square. On top i put the good felt underlay just for extra.Only did from ontop of rear shelf to whole boot area.I will defianately do the front one day just not on my priority list yet.

This is a topic i am interested in and i live in the Sydney area too. If we can find a distributor and a reasonable price we may get a better price by teaming up. Anyone else interested? My exhaust is volume is fine but i want to hear my stereo better. I am going to start with my doors but will eventually do the whole car.

The doors and boot are the easiest and the most effective imho, I haven't personally done my boot in dynamat but I have heard nothing but good stories from it. After I did my doors itreduced road noise, made my music less tinny and made the doors sound solid when you close them.

What I have done however is put a false mdf floor in the boot. This has made a substantial difference in the effectiveness of my sub.

just grab a few rolls of flashtac from bunnings. Dynamatt is just bitumen on a foil backing, so is flashtac. It's about 1/4 price but 95% as effective (dynamatt is a bit thicker)
My SQ car was completely done in flashtac and it performed VERY well
