hey guys had my wiring rerouted and hidden from engine bay but the guy didn't finish the job... so I'm picking up where he left... This is the drivers side wiring I had hicas but i have deleted/bypassed it.. cars an automatic , tt , 1993. I've taken a pic of each plug i don't know what is but if more specific pics required i.e wiring colors etc let me know and ill take some I've only taken pics of the ones i don't know about, need to know where i should be routing them... 1 - 2 3 - 4 5 - 6 7 - 8 9 - 10
One and two are alternator... 9 is gearbox, maybe speed sensor? Don't recognise the rest as I have a manual.
is there anything else i can take pics of to allow you guys to confirm what each plug is ? wiring colours etc ???
Beside injectors and maybe the vtcs and det sensor plug, Isnt every single plug in the system different? Even the aac plug has a different key hole. Shouldn't be that hard, Especially if you grew up with one of these.
theres no injectors, vtcs or det plugs there they are all on the passenger side loom... the drivers side loom has things like alternator, auto trans, pwr steering reservoir, hicas etc... ive got some of them i know already but the ones ive numbered not sure about atm...
9 and 10 are for the parking and indicator lights. 5 is the horn 1&2 plug together 3 is the high current plug from behind the headlight Not sure about the others but if I could see where they are out of the loom and where they are positioned on the chassis, could id them all
All the information you need chad, is shown in the manual. I remember when I was changing connectors ect, when the engine was out of my car, and all I can say is, the manual gets it right every time, and is easier than I thought it would be to follow, especially help full are the loom set out pics for the body, engine, cabin, ect , harnes, sub harness ect, and they all have diagrams set in the relevant locations around the car. The manual rocks.
