my wiper is driving me nuts:angry:, still has a mind of its own, sometimes it behaves, otherwise juz keeps comin on by itself and not switching off:thumbsdown::angry: i am thinkin it might infact be the relays...but i have no idea where on earth that could possibly be...i tried looking for the fuse (without any luck, lol found a fuse for everything except the wiper) but i think the relay might infact be the culprit...

if anyone knows where it is, plzzzzzz helllppppppppp:zlove:

If the 300 is anything like the Cima/Cedric then it will be in the main fusebox in the engine bay (next to the main ignition fuses etc)

Havent followed the rest of stories of your issues, but have you checked/replaced the wiper stalk? Sounds like a dodgy switch!

u think the switch is dodgy dom?

Hmmm, could it be the switch? When the wipers aren't going crazy, they do actually do what they are supposed to according to which ever setting I put it on...hmmm, would that still control the wipers if the switch was faulty? this wiper business is driving me insane:angry::thumbsdown:

thanx for your input dom, well i will have a look for the relay in the fuse box as you adviced and hopefully its there, if not then I suppose maybe i mite have to get the switch checked out...thanx again

well, if the switch is dodgy, i.e. broken inside, then the switch might be halfway between off and intermittent when you think it is 'off'

Each time you hit a tiny bump, or the steering column vibrates it could go to the intermittent setting for a second, then back again

One way to test this is to remove your steering column surround, then disconnect the plug from the wiper stalk. Does it still play up? If not then chances are thats the culprit!
