Different Types of Red

Lookin to respray the zed, but not sure if I wanna leave red fully. I'm looking for a different aesthetic than the stock red. Something unique? I've seen the metallic blues around and I was wondering if aaaaanybody has done/seen something similar in red
Any suggestions as to unique-type colours is welcome also (as long as they look good to me mwahaha )

 

ZED .. COLOUR

.... have to agree about the AZTEC RED ... after very deep research, i have discovered that this colour was a direct take from from pre-colombian Mexico .. yep, AZTEC sacrifices ... red blood everywhere .... lol.... (sorry k-zed, but it had to be revealed ..!!)

.. i love the burgundy/cherry red colour ... tops ...!!!

.. but better still is the "benny c" metallic blue .. but he would hate you copying that ..!!!

i personally love a red with a copper pearl through it, it goes a little orange at different angles and so u get all the different shades of red in between and no pinkness. - couldnt find a decent pic

My 'Stang was originally Burgundy but had it resprayed in White with a satin black bonnet:

Times and tastes change, but I do like Candy Apple Red Metallic especially with black or carbon-fibre bonnet.

 

MAzda 3 metalic red is bloody lovely. Check it out if you see one.

Candy colours need to be applied by someone who knows what they are doing. A mediocre job in preparation and painting looks crap as a finished result.

Ford's current bright red (Vixen) would be OK, and as Tekkie says the Mazda metallic red looks the goods. Lotus have a super bright metallic/pearl red called "chili" which looks great as well.

Me, I'm going with Holden's "flame red" from the 2001 Monaro - a sort of orangy red.

 

ZDUCTIV'S red mustang ... that colour is simply ALL CLASS ... beautiful ...!!!!

was aztec red, got it resprayed a couple off shades darker.

Nissan AG2 was actually 3 different reds. Aztec red, Sierra red, and one other I cant remember.
