Hey All, Here's some more photos from the day using Kr4usy's amazing DSLR (gota get me one of those )...enjoy :thumbup: BADXTC after one of his "spirited" cone course runs Uber quick Porsche that took the back track trophy A mental Mustang with a fitting background The Aus300 crew ripping it up on the skidpan He looks pretty pleased with his efforts The guys gearing up for the backtrack... ...and look!!...it even steals helmets...na, enough of that joke ....Mark giving the Jedi approval for an awesome event :thumbup: A choice shot of Wykked ..and a few more of competitors lining for their turn at back track The back of the "back track" More photos and angles :biggrin: These guys just looked so David Caruso serious (CSI Miami & no I dont watch it) as they walked back that I had to take a shot...sorry Mikey :rolleyes2: And back to the skidpan for some different cone configurations Kr4usy showing Renzed the handling bennefits of new suspension Chad telling his tyres to "Harden the f$%k up!!" Great shots craig! If thats what you can pull with someone else's camera, I'd love to see what you can do with a DSLR ofyour own! Keep up the good work, but more importantly get the GT-R back on the track so I can get some shots of you showing us how well you can drive!!! Cheers, Andrew
great photo's craig. agree wtih andrew, we have to see your gtr on the track. except this wasn't me driving as i didn't attempt the backtrack after the first 2 runs, didn't really think i could improve as it felt as if my front tyres were rolling everywhere, as if they had really soft sidewalls. alex said the same thing when he drove my car so i really do need some better rubber but there's still a good 60% tread left on the tyres so will have to wait. btw this is what alex does to your car when he says "i won't push hard, i swear..."

Had a very busy week, so im slowly getting through some video that was taken on my camera by various people....just thought id post this video taken by Jen (Blondie) inside Pete's car, forgot to tell her to change the zoom settings...makes for a crazy short video. are they my burnout lines under you car.... it was a small burnout , it went good ,, you now see what your car can do when I'm driving it ....little beast ,,lol...... and i did not push it , it was just a bit harder then average take of, and a good take of at that ...........
yeah those are the burnout lines from your zed, i reckon they'll still be there if i go back to deca in November. but i think your burnout helped abit, the tyres feel abit cleaner now.. i think you removed some of the harder rubber, thanks man... i should let you drive more often.
check out the sidewall flex on the outside front tyre... ryan this looks more like understeer to me: ps my sig pic wasn't really drifting.. it's power oversteer. i've only tried drifting at deca once but i couldn't get my entries right so gave up.. grip racing is better.
Thanks for the compliments guys and Andrew again for use of the camera...should have seen him after he was knocked out of the last versus event and was suddenly free of driving duties...nearly bowled me over trying to get at the camera Yeah just posted asking you to reserve a spot for me Chad at Sandown, hopefully I can get the GTR ready in time...only been on track before in the R31 at Winton and eager to see what the R32 is like, Sandown looks like its got some decent straights and corners after watching that vid. BTW, nice vids Renee...you should steal Andrew's video camera next time Cheers! Craig
You will love Sandown, some very fast straights and a mix of very fast and very tricky corners, sometimes right on top of each other.
